What is profoundly gifted? Ask yourself this question....Is your child a cheetah?

This excellent description by Stephanie Tolan asks how we know a cheetah is a cheetah beyond whether or not it runs fast. Not all profoundly gifted children are high achievers. Not all profoundly gifted children are easily recognizable because they are not always running at high speed, like the cheetah.
